The un security council has passed The resolution of peaceful plan In Kosovo and Metokhiya. Russia voted for all NATO’S claims. Chine abstained…

The main thing in the resolution is that it repeats practically all known NATO’s claims to Yugoslavia. There one difference is NATO demanded on issue of NATO’s forces putting into Kosovo and Metokhia only but the resolution says: ‘international security forces and NATO, mainly, must be dislocated under united command and control…’ Beside it, this resolution provides pulling- out of federal security forces from Kosovo and Metokhia in 7 days.

That’s little commentary to these events. Yugoslavia, as we remember it, pointed to impossibility of it’s military forces putting- out in such short time, in fact : NATO’s aviation has bombed all oil- resource of the country. Yugoslavia asked for two weeks. It is the first very important catch for NATO. When it has UN mandate, it can continue to destroy all military potential of Yugoslavia.

Importantly, how the number of international peaceful forces brought into Kosho and Macedonian territories has been determined. This point of the document opened all farce of ‘peacemaking actions’ of Chernomirdin and all Russia’s diplomacy.

Let’s remember that Russia’s officials emphasized: ‘ our country will be to have one separate sector, which will be commanded by Moscow. Nowadays other words are heard: ‘Russia won’t be to coax America to give this sector.’

We want to do accent on one fact more. This resolution confirms the mandate and jurisdiction of International Tribunal about last Yugoslavia, which have recently got more difficult all peacemaking process. In the text of the document there is the claim to all states – UN SC members to work with Tribunal together. So, UNSC confirmed that arrest of leaders of Yugoslavia would be true.

The meaning of these processes will be clear for the Russians not soon . Russia’s envoy, Sergey Lavrov , has voted for all points of this resolution. The only Chine abstained from it and it explained it’s position as disagreement with some points of the resolution, but because of approval of this project by President of Yugoslavia and Scupshtina, it supposes it is possible not to protest against it’s going through the UNSC.
